A competitive, entertaining match with Brent Schools saw Barnet Panthers U15s Gold come out on top as 3-1 winners, with Naomi and Alex getting the goals. 

Panthers raced in a two goal lead, with Naomi getting an early double through two brilliant runs in behind and finding the bottom left corner on both occasions.

Two nil up in the first 5 minutes, Panthers went on to control the rest of the first half, passing the ball with conviction and creating some more chances, with Kiara, Alex and Fideline going close before Alex added a third with the last kick of the first half. 

The second half saw Brent Schools come out fighting, getting an early goal to make it 3-1 and set the game up for an entertaining finish.

However Panthers didn’t shy away from the task of seeing out the match, again playing some brilliant football and were unlucky to not add to the 3 goals scored in the first half.

The final score ended 3-1 with the result seeing Panthers Gold remain in 2nd place with a little breathing space, building on their brilliant start to 2024
