Barnet Panthers U15s Gold are Capital Girls League Division 2 Champions after winning their final match against Ealing Trailfinders to clinch the trophy

What a season for the girls which saw it’s ups and downs in a league which ended up being a three way battle for promotion and the top spot

The Championship looked out of reach just after Xmas with Camden Youth running away with the league with a 100% record and beating Panthers at our ground just after New Year

But the season had a few more twists and turns to it, Panthers winning the return leg against Camden over in Regents Park in a thrilling match before seeing a 3-0 half-time lead against Ruislip Rangers wiped out with the final kick of the game – the teams drawing 3-3

But it all went down to the wire on the last day of the season with Panthers needing all three points to win the trophy. And the did so in style

 

Well done to all the girls who worked hard all season and got their just rewards playing some great football along the way

Well done to Alex with 17 goals and 8 assists giving her the Gold Golden boot

Congratulations to Amelie T who achieved 10 assists alongside her 11 goals

Thanks to coaches Billy, Harry and Zara for the time and effort they put in this season

Looking forward to a new exciting chapter ahead for 2023/24
