A Barnet Panthers XI comprising of a mix of U15s and U13s players played a close-cut friendly against Evergreen Phoenix U15s

A good run-out for the girls who dug in deep with a squad of 12 players and playing an unfamiliar formation due to the players available

2-1 up at half-time with a long range screecher from Tiffany nestling itself in the top corner and a well-worked and executed goal from Charlotte P which found the bottom corner.

A massive shoutout going out to Maggie, Emily and Nikola who stepped up from the U13s to take to the pitch yesterday and were fearless.

They fought for every ball, played some good football and did not stop running despite being on a bigger pitch and playing more minutes than they are used to in their U13s matches each week

A good start to the New Year and a great sign that the young ones can step up
