Panthers U15s Gold travelled to Ealing on a blazing May morning to take on Trailfinders in the final game of the season needing 3 points to take the league title

The game started off steady with both teams cancelling each other out with no-one wanting to make a mistake.

Then the breakthrough came 15 minutes into the first half. Morewa playing a great ball through to Amelie who lashed the ball into the back of the net.

Panthers were two up within minutes as Emma gave a shout to Robyn from her throw on, getting the ball into space for Robyn to plant her shot into the bottom corner

Another goal from Amelie direct from a corner (she 100% aimed to do that) an assist from Egla to let in Kiara saw Panthers four goals to the good ah half time

The match was not one way traffic. Trailfinders were causing Panthers problems all during the match with some great passages of play but Panthers’ defence were on the money – cutting out everything that came their way

Second half saw Panthers dominated with goals from Amelie, Charlene with  a fabulous solo effort, Robyn and Amelie with her hat trick to spark scenes of celebration at the final whistle

A big shout out to Trailfinders who gave the girls a great game and we hospitable till the end – giving the Panthers girls a guard of honour as a mark of respect for them winning the league

A fabulous end to the season in which the girls worked hard to win the title which was a close-run race between Camden Youth, who had 100% record more than half way through the season, and Brent Schools

Now bring on tournament season
